Dinosaurs

The Weekender has come to a bit of a standstill. I keep reading the instructions but I'm sure it needs a zip to go in next. I need to have a bit of a think about zips before I pluck up the courage and then hopefully wonder what I was worried about. My other plan is to pick a few brains at the EMMQG on 1st June. Here are the panels. I'm very pleased with them.

 
While I was pondering on the zip(putting it off), a friend of mine had a lot of fabric and a 3rd birthday coming up. With this being her first quilt it could of been put in the cupboard for a long time. The fabric is lovely and I had a vision.

 
So this became this.




Its coming on lovely but has to go in the cupboard today as I'm off to Thomas Land with a very excited husband.

    Have a great time, and have you considered bringing your bag with you, i'm nearly at the same stage and Di suggested i bring it with me, as we have a few hours in the afternoon to do projects. :o)

    Hey you..... the weekender panels are looking brilliant. Mine are at about the same stage, but I am hoping to do a bit more before Saturday, when I am bringing them with me to get the help of the others in order to put the whole lot together.     I'm about the same on my panels too, not joined them together and since I have a top to finish before 1st to stay on track I'm probably not going to be done for the meeting either!

    Where is Thomasland?! Might get OH a ticket for his 30th birthday ;)

    I'd be happy to help you with the zip, I have no fear of them! I'm rubbish at patchwork and quilting, but zips I can do!
